Lance & Angela Loven, Pastors
Lance and Angela were called to passionately love and serve Jesus. They have lived out this calling by serving on the pastoral staff at New Life Church (Kearney, Nebraska), as Chi Alpha District Director for Nebraska, and on the pastoral staff at Christ Church (now Movement City Church in Fort Worth, TX). It has been a great joy having Lance serve as lead pastor of New Heights with Angela since August 2010. They have 4 wonderful children who are very active in our church.
Mark & Kelly Putnam, Childrens Ministry
Mark and Kelly have led the children’s ministry at New Heights since September of 2012. They have a heart for God and the heart to help children grow in their walks with Him. God called them to the ministry of working with children when Mark was on a hillside in Romania, where he was on a mission trip working with orphans and abandoned children.
Before coming to New Heights, Mark taught preschool for seven years at New Life Assembly in Kearney, Nebraska. While he was there, Mark also was mentored for seven years under Pastor Eric Rozean, the children’s pastor at New Life. Mark helped in every way, learning many things about leading a children’s ministry. Mark and Kelly love bringing the gospel to life in a fun way for children. Their hearts are to serve and teach the love of God to the children of New Heights! They have 3 wonderful children of their own.

Lillie Wurst - Administrative Assistant
Lillie graduated from York High School in 1979. She earned a BA in Bible and Christian Education from Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota, graduating in 1986,. Following her graduation from college, Lillie served the local Assemblies of God church in
Ellendale as a Sunday school teacher, Missionettes (Girls Ministry) leader, coordinator, and
sectional representative.
Lillie began serving the pastors, deacons, other staff, and congregants with various office type
needs at New Heights Church in 1999. She has also volunteered in various areas of ministry
throughout the church including leading Children’s Ministry, BGMC, and VBS. Currently, Lillie
leads a ladies Bible Study on Thursdays and takes care of all the office needs of our church.
